Cynthia Fortier is a pre-published author of high fantasy. She has been telling stories her whole life and writing since she was 15 years old. Now, it is finally time to unleash the characters she has imagined into the world. Her first novel, Blackbird Sings, is on track for publication in spring 2025.

Cynthia (a.k.a. Sindy) lives in Vermont with her family. Besides a semi-reclusive cat named Crookshanks, her family includes her son, Josh, daughter-in-law, Samantha, and three grandchildren, Meegan, Rhydian, and Sarai. Stories and writing are frequent topics of conversation in the household. Creativity abounds!

While writing takes up plenty of her day, Sindy finds time to cook and play with her grandchildren. She also enjoys learning and develops personal study plans in a variety of topics, including the Bible, personal and professional development, and of course the craft and business of writing.
